Call for Participation
Monday, June 17, 12:00-7:00 p.m. (3:00-5:00 p.m. Dedicated demonstration time)
This year’s LTPAC Interoperability & Innovation Showcase will highlight innovative approaches to interoperability and standards-based exchange of health information. This year the thematic focus will be on innovative business models of health information exchange, impacts of such exchange on health outcomes, quality of care and healthcare utilization and costs. Examples of health information exchange between hospitals and LTPAC providers, and the impact of such exchange on hospital readmissions are of particular interest.
Interested in showcasing your interoperable HIT system? Complete and submit an application online by April 8, 2013. You will be notified of your selection by April 22, 2013. Select Showcase participants may be invited to present their innovations in an Interoperability Showcase Panel at the Summit. Note: Providers wishing to participate are encouraged to apply in partnership with their vendor(s).

The LTPAC Interoperability and Innovation Showcase aims to:
- Demonstrate current interoperability capabilities.
- Highlight innovative approaches to interoperability and health information exchange and innovative business models.
- Demonstrate the positive impacts of health information exchange between providers on health outcomes, quality of care and healthcare utilization and costs.
- Accelerate the adoption of standards-based interoperable solutions by care providers.
